Critical Thinking Means Questioning Everything

Children don't think much.  The younger they are, the more likely they are to believe each and every authority figure in their lives.  They may rebel emotionally and not obey their parents or teachers, but they don't think much.

Dangerously, the majority of older youths and adults don't think much either.  They just compliantly accept whatever they are told by a "trusted" authority.

Critical Thinking Means Questioning Everything

To Think Critically, You Must be Willing to Question "Authorities"

Learn to Think Critically

Here is a great example for you:

Regarding the now infamous, alleged child sex trafficking criminal, Jeffery Epstein, consider what is being argued.

  • The "official" position: Epstein committed suicide in prison.
  • The "conspiracy theorist's" position: Epstein was murdered.

So, you are supposed to ask yourself this question: did Epstein kill himself?

Asking this question is not critical thinking, it is guided and manipulated thinking based upon the broad arguments surrounding the condition of one Jeffery Epstein.

Is Epstein dead? Asking this question is a demonstration of critical thinking.

Because you are supposed to ACCEPT or ASSUME that Jeffery Epstein is dead.

To Think Critically, You Must Formulate Fundamental Questions

Jeffrey Epstein is Still Alive

So, What do I think?

Having considered the possibility that Epstein killed himself or he was murdered and knowing that I have the ability to think for myself, I ask the question: Is Epstein dead?

  • My conclusion is no.

Jeffrey Epstein is quite alive and well.

Well, you asked, and that is what I think.

I might be wrong.  Maybe he did kill himself.  Maybe he was murdered.  Or, maybe neither.

To Think Critically, You Should Expect to be Attacked

Be very careful when you are challenging religious dogmas, especially when that religion has the power of life and death over you.

If you have not studied the topic of GERM THEORY, you probably are not aware that it is indeed a theory.

  • This does NOT mean that it is not true, it simply has NOT been proven.

Learn the Difference between FAITH & FACT

If you believe something that cannot be proven, that is what we call FAITH.

I have FAITH in God while most Americans have FAITH in Science Scientism.

I BELIEVE in God.  I cannot PROVE God's existence.  That is FAITH and I admit it.

The problem is with people that pontificate that their position is scientific FACT when it is NOT.  It is NOT something that can be proven.  It is only BELIEVED to be so ... hello FAITH!

If you MUST have FAITH

  • If you must have FAITH, have faith in God. As the Bible says, "Let God be true and every man a Liar."

God will NOT deceive you.  You may not like what He does or says ... and He doesn't care.  He doesn't care if you are pleased with Him.  He is not a politician.

Don't put faith into man.  Every man is just like you.  Think about this.  Wearing a white lab coat or some suit does NOT make them CORRECT, it only confirms their CLAIMED AUTHORITY.

What Causes Colds and Flus?

A Layman's own Experience with Cold and Flu Type Illnesses

This is what is known as empirical evidence or knowledge or "science".

Science means knowledge after all.

  • Empirical means based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic.

How Do I Know I'm Sick (Symptoms)?

Well, I know I am indeed sick or ill or suffering from some disease in my body by the symptoms that I experience, which may include any one or all of the following with varying degrees of severity.

  • Headache
  • Dizzyness
  • Body Aches
  • Fever
    • Sweating as a result
  • Nasal Congestion
    • Sneezing dark yellow and green mucous
  • Sore Throat
  • Congested Lungs
    • Coughing dark yellow and green mucous
  • Stomach Cramps
  • Nausea
    • Vomiting out the Contents of my Stomach
    • Pooping out (diarrhea) the Contents of my Bowels

What KNOWN things can Cause such Reactions (Symptoms) Listed Above?

Of course, you know that the SYMPTOMS are NOT the CAUSES.  Correlation is not equivalent to causation.

Here are a few things that can CAUSE the things listed above:

The scientific method has not relied on the "OLD" ways of testing for decades.  Now, a theory can be "modeled" and tested with math.  (Note: I don't think this is valid or good, but it is factual).
